Fans of Mzansi Magic’s reality show, Date My Family, will be glad to know that the popular TV series is returning for yet another season on 10 April at 6PM. The original Mzansi Magic production will follow the same format as previous seasons, wherein a ‘singleton’ dines with three families, without meeting their potential dates, until the very end of the episode, where the ‘chosen’ person is then revealed to the suitor.
Since its debut the show has been a hit, both with viewers and contestants, with many couples ending up in steady relationships afterward. Head of Reality for M-Net Local Entertainment Channels, Sphumelele Sibeko commented on the continued success of this original Mzansi Magic format, “Much thought and planning goes in to finding and matching the couples, so that we increase the chances of it being a great connection and strongly entertaining on screen. Look out for some awesome matches this season with some surprise endings along the way.”
