After all they’ve been through, Qondi and Fezile’s love has caused more harm and hurt than anything else. From saving her life from Bhekifa’s bomb trap, to falling prey to Nkabinde’s most cruel brand of witchcraft, it’s almost as if the couple continues to drown and swim in a troubled paradise. But is it worth it?
Love is too often a dangerous undertaking here, but the pair have shown that they are willing to walk over hot coals to save the other let alone preserve their love. But in another tragic turn of events love may have left Mbulazi without the use of his limbs, specifically his legs.
It all started when, at Fezile’s exorcism, the menacing spirit of Somahhashi escaped Mbulazi’s body only to take up in someone else’s body. The boy, possessed by Bhekifa’s spirit, tricked Fezile and Qondi into illicitly meeting again. This was where Somahhashi found his way back into Fezile who then throttled Qondi, who then took a gun and shot him in the spine, in self defense.
Fezile is now fighting for his life in hospital after Qondi shot in a bid to kill the spirit that had stolen in him. Will he ever gain back the use of his legs?
