Well we certainly hope that it doesn’t become a trend that contestants lose in the “Bill Crusher”. In yesterday’s episode of Give Me That Bill Mzansi, we saw another loss in the final round and a sad one at that as uKhumbulani was devastated at how he was so close to achieving a full settlement of his bill.
Khumbulani was retrenched and instead of saving and spending his money wisely, he took a loan and splurged on clothing, landing up with a bill of R6400, 00. He qualified for the semi-finals with half of his bill already paid and subsequently into the final round. Unfortunately, he could not claim the remaining 50% of his bill, watch his game here:
In the semi-finals we had Sylvia, Khumbulani, Mapule, Veneshree and Ntombifuthi. Having not made it through to the final round, Ntombifuthi remained with her full bill as the Wild Card and the three other ladies had half of their bills already paid. Kujabola bona! Sylvia seemed to have been all over the show in her game, watch her 50% victory here:
Despite the unpleasant end of the game show, uBra Kenny had some encouraging words for the audience; he told them to take care of how they spend their money and to be responsible at all times! Some wise words from utata!
