We’re putting some spit and shine on this week’s episode of Bootcamp Mzansi. Following an impressive, calorie-busting session with comedian, actor and boxing enthusiast Siv Ngesi last week, one of the most recognizable faces in local sport is stepping up to the plate and visiting the mansion. Doctor Khumalo is all set to take our contestants through a high-intensity workout that is surely not for the faint-hearted.

Former Kaizer Chiefs star midfielder and Bafana Bafana legend, Theophilus Doctorson “Doctor” Khumalo, has dazzled Africa and the world with his undeniable talent. In 1990, he was part of the Kaizer Chiefs teams that won three South African league championship titles and five knockout trophies. He was voted South African Footballer of the Year in 1992 and went on to play a total of 397 league and cup games, scoring 75 goals.

Khumalo was a leading member of the winning South African national team at the 1996 African Nations Cup and also represented South Africa in the 1998 football World Cup. He played for South Africa 50 times (twice as captain), scoring nine goals, making him the 13th most capped South African footballer.

Watch Doctor Khumalo in action this Sunday 15 February 2015 at 18:00, only on Mzansi Magic(DStv channel 321).
