This long weekend, Mzansi Magic Music and C-Squared brings you a weekend of soulful music in the Soulful Sounds Weekend.
It will be a musical feast; over six hours of the best in African and Gospel music to soothe and revive the soul.
On Saturday the 25th of April, an African music extravaganza will take place at the Sand Du Plessis Theatre in Bloemfontein. Taking to the stage will be the golden voice of Africa Salif Keita, multi Grammy award-winning Ladysmith Black Mambazo, RnB crooner Donald, and SAMA award winning songbird Bucie. It’s a VIP only black tie event not to be missed!
Tickets can be purchased online at Computicket from R1 950 per ticket.
The very next evening, on Sunday the 26th of April, get ready for a night of praise and worship as International gospel star Marvin Sapp headlines a concert at the Vista Arena in Bloemfontein.
Marvin Sapp is a multi Dove and BET award winning singer and minister who brought you hits such as Never Would Have Made It and The Best in Me. His soothing yet always powerful voice, that once formed part of six-part gospel outfit Commissioned, has made him a favourite among millions of gospel enthusiasts worldwide.
Sharing the stage with him will be local ensemble Joyous Celebration, Teboho and Friends and Msingizane.
There will also be a gospel musical feast on Monday the 27th with a line up of local greats supporting Marvin Sapp; Solly Mahlangu, Benjamin Dube, Sifiso Ncwane, Ntokozo Mbambo and Apostle Mokoena.
Tickets for the Bloemfontein concert are available at Computicket, and for the Johannesburg concert, tickets can be bought at TicketPro. They range from R295 for general access, and R1 950 for VIP.
