The month of June is upon us and we can no longer deny the reality of winter! Mzansi Magic will continue to be relevant to all your viewing needs and promises to keep you warm and going through this beautiful and chilly month! See below what you can anticipate on your favourite channel this week:

On Monday at 18:00, Mzansi Magic Music Specials will be on. Kaya FM’s Mapaseka Mokwele sits down with soul singer and actress, Miss Jill Scott, for an intimate interview about her musical journey. The Grammy Award-winning singer has released several albums and who can forget the catchy hook she wrote on The Roots’ “You Got Me”? You best tune in for this one!

On Isibaya, Sbu questions Thandeka about the creditability of Jabu’s story. Zweli presents his list of newly elected council members at the council meeting. Will his decision be met with no objection? Shadrack is full of rage after seeing a familiar face from the past. Lerato shows no emotion and is rather dismissive about the news of Jabu’s return. It is a breakfast from hell as Jabu unleashes a different side to him. Tension arises when Siphokazi is accused of neglecting her duties at the Zungu home. Isibaya is on weekdays at 20:30.

From Monday to Thursday we have Zabalaza and it airs at 21:00. This week, Jazzman is not one to let an obstacle get in his way. In the midst of death, Mygirl is determined to be a star. KG is a different person and plays hardball at Slick Vic, to Victoria’s surprise. Q is stung when he is not acknowledged as a Morapama. Ray can’t take the guilt any longer. The family gets ready for the final send off and an unexpected family member makes an appearance.

Your Thursday night movie is a proudly South African film called Jerusalem. It’s a gritty South African drama about a Soweto boy who goes from petty crime to being a hijacker of highrise buildings in Hillbrow. Don’t miss at 21:30.

Daily Sun Movies are continuing this month and to start off with we have The Magic Statue at 19:30 on Friday. Two crooks are sent by an evil mastermind to steal a sacred statue that protects a small community on the outer skirts of town. Once in their possession, the statue begins to give the crooks bad luck. Join in for one of Mzansi’s nail-biting productions!

On Check Coast Season 1 this Saturday Lerato and Bheka have a fight and the rest of the office try to get them back together because the department cannot function when they are not on speaking terms. Catch it at 19:00.

Date My Family season 1 continues on this Sunday at 20:00. Date My Family helps singletons find love by sending them on dates with their potential partner’s family. Can you really trust your family to help you find love? Tune in to find out who finds love and within which family!
