This Week on Mzansi Magic: 3 – 9 August 2015

It’s women’s month and we look forward to celeberating South African women all over our channel and this week and for the rest of the month, we will be sure to give a shout out to the women out there. Make sure that you treat each and every one of them with the best care. In the meantime, have a look at what the best channel in Mzansi bring you this week:

On Isibaya, Zweli attempts to twist Mpiyakhe’s arm with regards to working with his father. Bhekifa grows impatient with his weakness and with Blade. Mpiyakhe asks for help from Fezile. Jabu is given a task. Thandeka attempts to communicate with the stranger. Zweli makes a risky choice and Bhekifa continues to woo Qondi. Mpiyakhe helps Fezile with Jabu’s final task. Isibaya is on weekdays at 20:30.

Zabalaza plays from Monday to Thursday at 21:00. Sydney’s nerves get the better of him and he ends up acting irrationally. Lindiwe, traumatised by Gasta’s confession, agonises about marrying Ray. Gasta realises that Lindiwe is ashamed of her. Mthunzi and Sponono are allowed back into the house. Terri is ready to expose the secret that has been eating at her. This week will be an interesting one on Zabalaza, be sure not to miss out!

Your Monday night movie is From This Day Forward and plays at 22:30. FROM THIS DAY FORWARD is a story of trust and expectations. As one married couple deals with baggage from the past, another newly engaged coupe deals with what the future may hold. Starring Essence Atkins.

On Tuesday, don’t miss Dineo’s Diary Season 4 at 19:00. Continuing from previous seasons of Dineo’s Diary, season 4 takes us on another journey into the life of a young entrepreneur trying to find ways to support her life and family. With more drama, more twists and turns, more challenges, we just never know what’s in store for us in each episode of Dineo’s life.

Love Back Season 2 is on at 19:00, on Wednesday. Everybody has that one person who ‘got away’ and Love Back is going to give you the chance to try everything in your power to get umuntu wakho back.
Love Back features people wanting to get their exes back and is hosted by Wright Ngubeni.

Lokshin Bioskop: Ancient Ground is on at 19:00 on Thursday. Childhood friends reunite to take a trip back to the homestead where they grew up. Immersed in their modern city slicker ways they now stand in stark contrast to the place they once called home. They get more than they bargained for when their ‘Turn Up’ is interrupted by a series of strange happenings from the ancient past.

On It’s Complicated, Thato decides to take Vumani’s advice. Matli and Thabang both have to deal with a blast from the past. Ipeleng’s plans are derailed, could this be the end of her perfect life? Don’t miss the next episode, it really does get complicated!

Your Saturday night movie is The Bodyguard and plays at 20:30. The late Whitney Houston stars as a pop star who is assigned a bodyguard after receiving threats. At first they butt heads but soon become dependent on each another. Starring Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner.

Things get a little trick on Idols SA Season 11 this week. All the golden ticket winners from the audition tour convene in Johannesburg to board busses for Sun City theatre week, but some busses are not headed where the contestants think. Hell week never started like this before. Who will survive? Catch IdolsSA at 17:00 to find out.
