It’s no secret that our choirmasters are some of the most recognisable faces on the local entertainment circuit. iFani, Bucie, Busiswa, Kelly, Sfiso, Penny Penny and JR are all about excellence both in front of the camera and off, so it’s no surprise that our ‘A-Team’has been hogging the headlines, since their respective Clash of the Choirs debuts.
Kelly Khumalo’s face is making headlines! After posting a makeup free selfie on her Instagram page, our Gauteng choirmaster found out that being an unashamed bare-faced beaut, will land you on You Magazine digital. Her caption? “No filter, no nothing, I haven’t washed and I have no plans of washing today, #KeepingItReal #Nokukhanya #TheGoddessOfLight I’m loving every moment…”
Penny Penny was also in the news recently for his face too. But not exactly like Kelly. According to reports, he just might be rapper Cassper Nyovest’s father. And even though Cassper has refuted the allegations, these two talented musicians could pass for relatives.
Haibo.., PENNY PENNY is Cassper Nyovest’s dad…. Ehake…. pic.twitter.com/cr1eaS4B55

Bucie, on the other hand, is entering 2016 with a brand new look – and we’re not complaining. The gorgeous Eastern Cape choirmaster showed off her braided side-shave recently on the ‘gram. Looking good!
Who says you can’t be friends with your colleagues? KwaZulu-Natal choirmaster Busiswa recently shared a cool pic of herself hanging out with her Kalawa label mates (including afro pop icons Mafikizolo), during well-deserved downtime from jet-setting across the country.
Trust JR to share the coolest Clash of the Choirs art on his Instagram page…
Speaking of cool, have you seen Sfiso’s suit game?
