With only four choirs remaining, the pressure is doubled as the teams are expected to prepare two songs each this week.
This Sunday, the choirs will go through the movie soundtrack archives and bring to life songs from some of the most popular movies to date. Popular flicks like: Moulin Rouge, Bad Boys and Charlie’s Angels are featured this week. Can the choirs keep their cool and deliver spick-and-span executions, twice in a row?
The first playlist this week will be as follows:
Gauteng’s Team Kelly kick off the performances with Regina King’s Shy Guy, from Bad Boys.
Eastern Cape’s Team Bucie gets on stage for a Destiny’s Child Independent Woman rendition, from the movie Charlie’s Angels.
Western Cape’s Team iFani will showcase an Adele Skyfall performance, from the James Bond franchise.
Mpumalanga’s Team JR wraps up the first round with Madonna’s Don’t Cry For Me Argentina, from Evita.
The second set of performances will go as follows:
Gauteng’s Team Kelly will perform Lady Marmalade from the musical, Moulin Rouge.
Eastern Cape’s Team Bucie take on Back To Black from the movie, The Great Gatsby.
Western Cape’s Team iFani honour Lebo M with The Lion Sleeps Tonight, from the Lion King.
Mpumalanga’s Team JR bring their shoop shoop to Whitney Houston’s Exhale, from the movie Waiting to Exhale.
